Shareholders in Seismic Capital are issued Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS), a huge potential federal tax benefit.*
Simply put, when you sell your shares after a holding period, the QSBS creates a federal capital gains taxes exemption. The exemption also applies to most state capital gains taxes.* To qualify for the full benefit, shareholders must hold their shares for five years or more. Those who hold their shares for less time may be eligible for reduced benefits.
See the chart below to learn how it works:
Last Thursday, we hosted a webinar on QSBS, and how it works for investors in Seismic and other qualified small businesses. Click here to view our webinar and learn more details on our tax-advantaged structure.
Included on the page are also answered questions from attendees of our webinar. If you’re considering an investment in Seismic, you may have some of the same questions, so be sure to check it out!
